Default Wont start?

95 Chevy 3500 2 wheel 6.5
Was starting and doin fine, then a chipmunk chewed the wires off the crank sensor (3) at the block. Before I found it, would only crank and would only start with a shot of either. but when hot would start on its own after 15 full seconds of cranking. Replaced sensor and no change in symtoms. Could have the raw wires chewed shorted or blown a fuse? Checked fuses on drivers side dash and inner fender under hood. All good. Dahhh.. what now?

feelin kinda stupid

Motor cranks fine but will not start when cold without a shot of start fluid. Runs normal. When warmed up, shut off and will start only after about 15 seconds of cranking. Then it runs normal. Cranking is very good with good batterys. Bled fuel system for air
Thanks for note

This problem happened quickly. Didnt check glow plugs since never an issue. Still wouldnt start in 90 degree temp. little to no smoke as usual. Runs normal and clean after starting.

Hmm could be the starter ready to go mine did that cause it couldn't spin the engine fast enough. Could be a leaking injector too what color smoke on start up? Do they sell pig tails for that wire it could be the connection still

The starter spins like new. Not an issue. not much smoke at all. This problem happened sudden. No preformance issues or start problems. Think that chipmunk did the dirty deed
