Default 6.2L injector pump priming procedure

Ok, first off, yes I know my signature says I have a 6.5, and I do. This is for a buddys truck.(Nic this is for you)

I just put a new 6.5 engine in mine, and it has a db2 or mechanical pump as it is a 93 without the PMD.

On the 6.2 it wont start. We have fuel to the filter(s). For whatever reason this 6.2 has a filter that looks like an oil filter, and then a second one before the pump that is the same looks, but about half the size. Doesnt resemble anything in my Mitchell repair book. I think the prior owner must have had something to do with that-but I digress.

No fuel to the injectors. Since I cant locate a purge valve like the 6.5 has, I am thinking that the pump has an air lock in it. The lift pump in the left tank is working(has dual tanks) Cant hear the right one running after switching to that tank, but will run off the left. Again, fuel all the way thru the first filter, but loosened an injector line, cranked and cranked it until the starter burned up, and nothing coming from the line.

Any Ideas?
