Head bolts and gaskets?
#2
You can go with ARB studs, but you can't get the heads on and off the block with it in the truck. You have to install the front studs, then lay the head on and finally thread the rear studs in. Then torque the whole shmozzle down to spec. If you ever have to remove the heads, you'll have to reverse the whole process.
Some of the bolt holes go into the water jacket and studs have been known to leak. A sealant on the threads my take care of that, but there's no guarantees...and then you have to pull the heads back off, which means reversing hte stud installation procedure....
If you're just fixing a popped head gasket, just get new TTY bolts and forget the studs.
For gaskets it's hard to beat a good set of new felpro's.....
