Default Favor fuel manager

Can I replace my stock fuel filter manager with a Racor fuel manager?

Yup.

Many have.

It's not a "plug and play" type install though.

Bruce over on the truck stop dot us has a nice racor installation in place of the stock FM.

What filter head are you planning to use?

You loose the stock WIF sensor and fuel heater by changing.

You can add a heater to a racor and also a wif...they're "extras" though...

Also, try to use at least a 5 micron filter. The stocker is 5 or 10 micron (depending on whose spec sheets you choose to believe) and you don't want particles bigger than that getting to the IP.....

I'll have to check out Bruces setup. If it's the Bruce I'm thinking of I think he passed away not too long ago. God Bless him.

But on a happier note, going without the fuel heater doesn't really bother me. I do want the WIF though. Now what all do I need to do to hook this thing up?

Oh sorry, my bad. Anyways I looked for any posts by him about a Racor. I couldn't find anything. What would I need to do to be able to run a Racor?

Shoot him a PM on the other forum.

He's a nice guy.

I'm sure he'll point you in the right direction....
