check the OPS. it can intermit power to the lift pump. if the ops is good, it could be the oil pump.

only reason im saying this is because my friend has a 6.5 that would do the same thing and he replaced the ops and it would still die, then he put an oil pressure tester and it was reading about 20psi.

Default Fuel lines problem!

Hello,

This might be due to fuel lines running in between you engine block, I had the same problem wouldn't go over 2 or 3 RPM found out the line had dry rot.
Probably the on going to the tee line run off, I went and found the gel lines these don't dry-rot, then I placed heat resistance cover over all of them to prevent the heat from drying them out!
Summit racing is where I found the hose & heat cover... might try this!
Most people where telling me it was IP or PDM then I did this & everything is fine!

I have a similar problem. I installed a boost gauge to see what was going on with my turbo and foud it was crapping out. The wastegate would open and i would lose all boost. The first solution, i ziptied the wastegate close, then i fabbed up a breacket to replace the wastegate and make it a fixed wastegate. Helped out alot. Try getting the truck up to g
About 60, and listen to the exhaust tone, if it gets deeper, your wastegate may be dumping.
