ok so installed new pmd and optical sensor few months back, truck would start right up with the bump of a key. now its just goin back to old ways hard starting hot or cold, white smoke. also when driving as i push the gas it jumps and shakes?not real rough but like your driving on a rough road. these are the codes i got when i scaned it17,18,32,33,35,36,43,46,48,49,57,62 and 78. i figured a few like the egr and wastegate are from me unhooking the wastegate solenoid vac lines( installed tm because vac pump isnt working).

 

if you set the optical disc too close to the eye, it can cause problems like jumping into gear and the pedal is way more sensitive,

well the pedal is real sensitive how would i know if i have it set right? it just doesnt seem right to me

 

well, one thing not to be a pain in the ***, but the optical sensor isnt really a serviceable part. unless done by a place that specializes in IPs.

to be honest im not 100% positive on how it should be set

i would bring it to a diesel mechanic before something goes bad
