Hi all

Not been on here for a while,

got a issue going with my truck engine GM 6.5 TURBO

noticed the other day the oil pressure was a bit low i.e. 15 to 20 psi at highway speeds

when she starts up she pushes about 45 psi, but as she gets warm the pressure seams to drop.

the clock is fitted to the rear takeoff and on a 1/16" stainless capillary tube to pressure clock

not using the truck at the mo due to this.

anyone got some ideas.

When was last time you change oil filter

I had this happen to me 8 months ago found that the filter was the problem

I changed the oil filter and oil recently to see if it made a differance but it didn't

 

i would try other OPS and make sure acdelco
