It gets all kind of fuel to the top of the motor so I believe the electric is fine

Tried the ground thing no luck

i have a 1993 so don't mess with the electronic fuel pumps alot other than when i used to work on them at work

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

sounds like starving for fuel at time check computer and see codes and that pump might be defective

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

you know i just thought i had a truck at work do that it ended up being the ignition switch never thought of looking there at first

the contacts get a little worn in there and sometimes cause problems you get power when turned on but for some reason the pump works intermittantly just go buy a new one they didn't used to be alot of money.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

being that you just put the pump on it is possible there is air in the lines that can cause it to try and dye and run rough
