6.5 oil in the coolant
I am working on a 97 3500 Chevy 6.5 that is getting oil into the coolant but no signs of coolant into the oil. the truck does not have an oil cooler in the radiator, also it is a five speed so it is definitely not atf. has anyone heard of this before. i cannot think of anywhere that the oil would be under pressure close to a coolant port. any help would be great. thanks REDNECKVETTE

no the rad hose gets pressure when it warms up but not right away when i start it. also i looked in the rad for bubbles when running and didn't see any. this truck has me confused. i don't think it would be head gasket, were in the head is oil under pressure? I think any oil going threw the head would be draining from the rockers (no pressure). I am assuming a 6.5 oiling system is like a small block Chevy oil gets to the top threw the push rods right?
