Default 6.5 turbo on 6.2

Ok i need serious answers here. will a 6.5 turbo work on my 92 6.2 the turbo is a wastegate turbo and i don't know if it will work HELP ME!!!!

Yes it will work. You will need to drill and tap a oil supply line in and pipe a return line in. The only real problem you might run into is the injectors are shorter in a 6.5 and it will cause the passenger side injectors to fit tight.

whys that...i am not puttin 6.5 injectors in my 6.2 jus the turbo and intake and manifolds and all the bells and whistles that come wit the turbo system

the newer 6.2s have the same injectors as the 6.5 im pretty sure

If it has got a spring type waste gate your fine if it is vacuum operated you need to convert it to a spring type.

well the guy told me it was a spring controlled turbo and i looked it up on heath diesel and its only like a 100 bucks for a aftermarket spring

If it is a spring type you don't need to buy a aftermarket spring to turn it up. Get a boost gauge. Then all you need to do is shorten the rod between the spring and the wastegate arm. You can do it by drilling another hole in the rod closer to the spring.
