I have a 95 k1500 4x4 with a 6.5 turbo diesel it has a little over 79,000 miles on it..The problem im haveing with it is it will run for only 8 -12 seconds and it only has throttle responce when first started for a couple seconds then idles for another 10 seconds and dies.It had DTC 54 which is a internal fuel fault in the PCM so I replaced it with a new GM one..Also replaced the fuel filter ,Lift pump and the sending unit ..And the truck still has the same problem..I hope some one has some kinda idea!! check all the ground to be tight and clean the computer ground at the back right side of intake should be 2 or 3 wires there and there are 2 ground strap right there under the A/C Dryer on the firewall one goes to back head the other to the frame make sure they in good shape , clean and tight and there ground on top IP for PMD check it and then there ground at the right battery on the fender check it then clear all codes see if it come back

 

You might also check for cracks in fuel lines and hoses, even cracks/holes in vacuum lines can cause running problems.
