Default Got the codes-1995 6.5 TD

I used your paperclip method to get codes, first code 18, second code 62, could these tell me why the injector pump is not putting out fuel to the injectors?

Can the crankshaft postition sensor cause any of this?

I will look it up when i get off work. I had a few codes popping up and i try to fix it but it was my ECM. And I know 18 was one of them. But to me it sounds like your PMD. Or something along those lines.

Already replaced pmd and pmd harness, injector harness, ops, injector pump, I had this exact problem before replacing injector pump and pmd. Lot of sharp guys out there. checked out big joes problems and mine sound very simular. I hope people don't get tired of my questions butt I'm going broke and nuts. Fuel is at the IP nothing at Injectors. ECM?

Thank to all

Ya i would try a ECM. i had a problem almost like yours and i replaced a ton of stuff. Te IP,OP,PMD and reloacated it. Did all my grounds over and cleaned then all up. Glow plug relay. Long story short i tried a ton of stuff before i replaced the ECM. Well it was the ECM. got it from autozone.com. After the core it was only 94$

Did you check fuel line when you replaced IP? I had same problems you have ( no fuel to injectors) I found my fuel line kinked under intake. Does your feul filter mount on intake? If so easy way to check is unbolt filter, pull towards firewall. If fuel line is the problem, you will start getting fuel at injectors after turning engine over a few times. Don't know if this helps but I worked on mine for about 10 days before I removed intake again and found problem. Good Luck!!

I would try all the easy things including stuff like what jwyeater is talking about. But if it comes down to the ECM. It is behind your glove box. i have a 1995 also. There are two little medal clips that hold it in place. it is tight but it will slide right out. Have you had the intake off anytime to have been able to pinch a fuel line?

The intake is off, plenty of fuel to the IP. fuel shut off solenoid working it appears the IP is not getting info it needs to operate or an electrical problem, cheked grounds and all appear ok. module and IP have been replaced.

Thanks
