Default Still no fuel to injectors after replacing IP

I replaced the IP yesterday following the instructions written by Crazy. He had every detail exact. The job went perfect. I replaced the IP because I had fuel to the IP but no fuel to the injectors. I had replaced the PMD a few weeks prior thinking that was the problem. The lift pump is definetly working but not as originally designed. 10 years ago I bypassed the OPS and relay because I got tired replacing this flawed system. I wired the lift pump to the fuse panel so it comes on and you hear it running when you turn the ignition on. It has worked fine this way for years. The question now is does the OPS or lift pump relay interact with the IP? I dont think the IP is getting a message it needs or electricity from some where. This truck only has 135,000 miles. What am I missing?

Are you talking about the solenoid on the top of the IP?

Before you replaced the IP did you check for codes ? I have seen a blown ecm fuse do exactly that. For a 95 OBD1 I highly recommend GMTDScan from engh motors. it works awesome and is very user friendly. it only works on 94-95. It's a must have for OBD1 owners.
When you turn the key on does the service engine light come on even momentarily ?

Yes I checked for codes before replacing the module which everyone I talked to assured me was my no fuel to the injectors problem. That was before I found Diesel Bombers. After the module replacement I did not check for codes because I was told having my batteries disconnected for a week eliminated any codes, don't know if that is true butt that's what I believed. Yes when I turn the ignition on the service engine light comes on and does not go out till I turn ignition off. Thanks, I hope I'm getting closer to the problem and I will be trying to locate the fuse to the ECM and check it because I forgot to check that part of your advise.

If the SES light is coming on, the fuse is good although the ECM could be bad. Check for codes again anyway. You can do it with a paperclip. Pins a&b IIRC.

'm not to sure about how to check for codes with the paperclip and where I will see the codes. The last time I checked the codes with a barrowed Snap On scanner which I no longer have access to. I don't think this has anything to do with the problem but I'll toss it out, the fuel guage jumps way past full and settles back to a true reading after running for a few minutes. This was taking place long before my loss of fuel. When I turned the ignition on to check the service engine light yesterday the fuel guage went way past full and I know there is only a quarter tank of fuel. I did check the ECM-B and ECM-I fuses and both are good. Thanks.

1. Locate ADL port below dash.

2. Insert paperclip or similar wire. (see photo)

3. KOEO (Key On Engine Off) watch SES light.

4. SES (check engine) light will blink out codes. It will flash, then short pause, then flash again, then long pause between codes. Example: flash, (pause), flash, flash (long pause) is code12 for no RPM. This code is always present.

Example 2: Flash, flash, flash (pause) flash, flash, flash, (long pause) = code 33. The computer will continue to scroll through the codes and generally begins and ends with 3 code 12's, with important codes being shown in between.
Read Codes
Error Codes

NOTE: All DTC(S) with the * sign are automatic transmission (4L80E) related

I have a 1998 chevy 6.5 lost fuel changed pmd and still no fuel. I also had bad fuel pump changed that as well but they say there is also a lift pump. Where is that located? I changed the fuel pump which is on the frame rail and there is no other pump on frame rail which i have been told that is where the lift pump is. I get fuel as far as the filter but nothing getting to the injectors... I have worked on semi trucks for the last 10 years and cannot figure this chevy out.... I NEED HELP... At first i thought it was because it was a chevy but kinda have to let that go LOL... Please anyone who can help send me some info...
