Long Trip Comin... what oil;s to use?

Default Long Trip Comin... what oil;s to use?

movin about 35 hrs away next week.. thought itd be a good time to change some fluids...

to change the tranny oil i just need to drop the pan and change the filter correct?? and that takes dextropn III i beleive?? any idea how many litres its gonna need?

what gear oil should I use in the rear diff and the fron diff?? how much will i need for each one?

thanks guys

Use 75W-90 in the front and rear diffs (calls for 80W-90), but you won't have to worry about it getting stiff.

On the transmission, be sure it's warmed up a little before you drop the fluid, and be sure the truck is level. When you add fluid, get it to the full mark before you start the engine. Then be to shift into neutral, then add till you get to the full hot mark. Shift into gears periodically and keep checking the level.
