Default Glow Plug uh-oh

So I changed out my plugs when I got home from work today and when I removed one I discovered that it was broken. The truck is still relatively new to me but I think its safe to assume that the broken piece is in the block.

So that being said.......... How bad is it? What am I in for now?

you need to get a magnet that you can maneuver in that hole and retrieve any piece of glow plug tip if there are in fact still any pieces in there. they can tear up your head and valves and piston and could go through your turbo. make sure you try real hard with that magnet

More than likely, it's stuck in the pre-chamber. I've pulled a number of short glow plugs out, and I never had any engine issues.
