Default Truck Stalls Outta Nowhere....confirming bad pmd?/

hey guys, im new here, il be drivin around, various speeds/ days and the ol gal my 00 6.5L will just randomly shut down, il throw it into nuetral, start it back up carry on...and itl shut down again, but then itl be fine after a few hiccups here n there... ive opened the t valve and fuel is pourin out nicely.... is this the pmd or what? ive been lookin at kits for the pmd.. and i know i will need one eventually... but is this my current problem?? thanks alot guys

well if get fuel at T-Valve that good LP


next thing you want to check is the grounds they play big part you have 2 or 3 grounds at back pass/side on the intake the back of that head should be ground strap that goes to firewall right under A/C dryer and from the firewall to the frame make sure there and clean and the ends look good also there ground on pass battery ther one to right fender then 2 battery cables that got to intake also PMD ground on top of the injector pump

If there all good i would have to say it the PMD that is one the sign for it where is your PMD at is still on the injector pump or has it been move to the front bumper if in the front bump check the wire harness to it and plugs at both ends

the pmd is still mounted on the pump under the intake... its got 290k on the odometer

i would have say PMD is going bad if still on the pump

when you get the new one make sure mounted on a heat sink and mounted it front bumper

has anyone had the symptoms of shut down and start back up and over and over again with their old pmd? its never not gotten me home yet... just pisses me off.. very intermittent

ya i had one that did it to me it took me 3hr get 6 miles back to house and then next it ran for about 2 hrs then and never started again

new kit mounted on my rad support behind the grill.. trucks runnin good so far, cross ur fingers!

so far almost a week with no hiccups, im about98% sure shes cured!
