hey this site looks awesome im mitch and i got this 93 chevy last week for 1000 bucks it supposedly didnt run but new batteries and a air filter and it fired right up then after a few days kept stalling so we put a new injection pump on it and jackup the torsion bars and it runs like a top definetly could use a tranny or a flush
any ideas on mods to come definetly straight pipe it and a intake
my dad also has a 06 duramax and teaches diesel tech
heres my 93 defently a step up from my 90 s10

 

relocate the pmd, via a relocation kit. heath is a one stop shop for these trucks or you can shop around.

 

it doesent have a pmd

 

get a 97 and up air intake not the crappy ss diesel ones. get some gauges to monitor engine vitals then you will be able to turn up the pump for some more power.

 

ya i probly will do that do you know where i can get a muffler delete pipe
and i cant find any gauge pods for this body style

 

i willsay before go after PMD do a OPS and LP test on the stalling before staying PMD is bad

 

dude it doesent have a pmd its a 93 and we put a new lift pump on it and it kept stalling so we put the injection pump on it now it runs good

idk know if anyone sells a muffler delete pipe. i would get a full exhaust system and then just order it without the muffler. its around 300 bucks for the diamond eye system. summit racing should have some gauge pods

 

he didn't say it was Mechanical it gone both ways in 93

 

ya i saw a diamond eye 4 inch turboback kit on ebay it was 229 and i saw some pods on summit dang this stuff is expensive good thing i make biodiesel so i can save a little
