So I just got the stock one off of the pump without removing the intake or anything. A little bit of finagleing and shortening of an alen wrench and a few cuss words and I got it out. So it is possible

alright so i relocated the pmd, mounted it in the grill under the turn signal and theres alot of airflow there but the pmd is getting hot. when you guys bumper mounted it did you use a heat sink or anything for additional cooling? any advice?

Ya know that did cross my mind, I need somethin in the office. I mounted it to a homemade heatsink between the drivers side battery and the core support. There's a hole there where they used to mount round headlights and it flows enough air through that to cool the heatsink. it never gets over ambient temp now
