Trans. and rear axle
So right now I have a 4 spd with a bulldog gear and i'm thiking 4.10's in the rear. I really don't tow much, and I'd really like an extra gear to catch. So, what 5 spd trannys go well with these trucks. and would it be good to swap in a 3.08 gearing in the rear. I've heard a 6.5L can run 14sec. quarter miles, and i would like to do that. So make any recomendations.

Nv4500 comes behind the 6.5's stock so it should make a easy swap. The only thing I don't like about mine is it seams to have a big step between 3rd and 4th. If you do alot of highway driving I might consider going to something other than 4.10s but I would not go to a 3.08. My 95 had 3.73 in it and I loved them.
Getting it to 14sec quarter mile would take a decent amount of work and I don't think you would want a NV4500 for that. They aren't the quickest shifting transmissions and you would probably be better with a auto.

no one has really raced with the ATT and Hx35 is a good turbo just kinda close to a 6.5's choke limit. Holset He351ve Vgt trubo is another cheap choice. some bosch marine nozzles would be good injectors with 2300 psi pop pressure and if you dont get an intercooler your going to need water/meth
