Default two thermostats or one ?

I have just done a fair amount of work to my truck, mostly up keep that it had fallen behind on as the truck is fairly new to me. I have heard about removing one of the thermostats so you do not end up with one working and one not, which was my case. Do you just leave one out? or buy new housing or what??

if you have 2 T-Stat i would replace the both if you want switch over one you have to do the housing also on duel set up i wouldn't leave one out you wouldn't have no way control coolant temps
