Default Vacum Pump/Wastegate Actuator

Ok i dont hace enough vacum. Now here is where i am at. Should i Replace the vacum pump and go from there. I would replace it in a heart beat if i knew the Wastegate Actuator was good. I was wondering if i should put a manual Wastegate Actuator. I just know my luck i will replace the pump and the Wastegate Actuator will ve bad also. I know the pump is bad for sure. At idle when i start it i get about 7 in pounds if i m reading the gauge right. And when the truck warms up it drops to like 3 or 4 inch pounds. Like i said if i m reading the thing right first time useing one. But it drops from 7 what ever to like 3 or 4 what ever. I think the Wastegate Actuator i have now is good because when i move the Wastegate Actuator arm it sucks throught he Wastegate silonoid and if i pulg the vacum line with my finger and move the arm it olds the same amount of vacum. So what should i do

ok when test vacuum pump there should be at least 22 in all the way to waste gate if you get 22in to the wastgate sol and you get hole lot less to wastgate it self then you have bad wastgate sol

I tested it at the pump so i know i dont have enough to sol better yet the waistgate. What i m asking is should i start by replacine the pump or just go to a manual Wastegate Actuator. My luck is i will replace the pump the the sol will be bad then i will replace that then the Actuator will be bad and i will have hundreds into getting the turbo working right. Or would i be better off just going to a manaul Wastegate Actuator. If it is better to have the vacum i will go that way also it will just cost more

I m kinda confused. you did away with the Wastegate. What i think if i understand it you made a manual Wastegate Actuator. I have seen on here some where that people make there own. I just couldnt find that page again. I found one from HEATH for 109 bucks. that isnt to bad. If i find the page on here again i might try to build my own. i afraid if i build my own i might have problems with it.
