If you just want to test your wastegate actuator you could check with an automotive air conditioning repair shop which has vacuum pumps that could pull a vac on your solonoid without removing it from the engine. Check the yellow pages.

I cant run a line from the pump to the waistgate because i dont have enough vacum. At idle i m only getting 7 inch pounds at start up and about 3 when it warms up and thats right at the pump i didnt test any where farther then taht because if i m not getting it at the pump i wont be getting it past the sol. I think i m going to build the new spring waist gate. I researched it last night and alot of people went to this and from what i read they all loved it. I m going to leave then pump in until i get a shorter belt ordered.I found i can order a shorter one from heath. I think it will be a nice up grade and i should have to worry about the sol or pump or lines ever again I HOPE.

Ok i did the mod. i think i might need a lighter spring or a longer rod. THe longest rod i could find was 8 and 7/8ths. So i dont know if it has the spring compressed to much or to hevy of a spring. Tomorrow i m making a longer rod. At about 2000rpms it runs about 7'LBS. when i stomp on it ant it goes over 2000rpms it jumps up to about 11 or 12 LBS. I was told not to ever run it over 15 And 12 is a little to close for me. I didnt do it for the extra power i did it to get my turbo to work. Now that it s working i hope my MPG will go up alittle bit
