99 suburban k 1500
while starting I lost all power to the ignition. batteries are good,fuses are good. When I turn the key I get nothing. No dash lights,no gages working,nothing. I replaced the fuseable link next to the fuse box and put in a new ignition switch. still nothing.
When I turn the key everything else works ,radio,widows everything but ignition and dash lights/gages.
It had a viper remote start system but I removed it when I put in the new ignition switch.
When I turn the key on I get a clicking sound from behind the dash on the left side of the column . It clicks three times.
I'm loosing my mind trying to figure this one out.

any suggestions?

i be checking and cleaning all grounds and battery cables check them good as old these truck are the cables start to internal corrosion
