Default Cold Air intake
Crazy I've heard you talk about not using a cold air intake cause it sucks in all the hot air from under the hood and using a different model airbox instead, Which one was it and where is a good place to find one?

you want to run 97+ air box try fine one junk yard or maybe on Ebay

theres websites that have all the inventory of multiple junkyards around the country. i forgot what there called but there out there so google it.

Will the 97+ airbox from any gmc or chevy truck with a v8 work or do i need just the one for the 6.5?

you want one 6.5 it got big round filter

A guy I know was able to squeeze in a K+N cone style air filter into an air box on a 97, that seemed to flow well.

i wouldnt suggest using a K&N filter but i really like my amsoil nanofiber one
