need to know if there is anything special to do to get the window actuator out and put another one in. Mines not working,wasnt when i bought the truck and now i found a used one for a good price, just never done it before and i have to take the one out of the parts truck from the guy im buying it off of and i dont want to mess anything up

 

man it been over 5 yrs sent i have done one but it i remember right just few bolts and nuts you may want to bring cordless drill with you can't remember if there where few pop rivets and tricky is fishing actuator out of the door and keeping the window out away also

 

I know when I was doing it on other GM vehicles they were riveted in. Replaced three of them in one car all were done that way, from the donor cars and on mine.

Just watch when u pull motor out window dont drop on ur hand !

 

Can you tape it up or prop it up

 

to hole the window up i ues some taper wood push them in between the window and the door seem to woke for me i have even used screwdrivers

 

Can I take out just the motor to replace since i'm getting it off that other parts truck or do i have to take off track and all on these trucks, i need to take my panel off and look in there to see what i'm dealing with,
