turbo diesels are kinda at a disadvantage to this because you have to spool the turbo where the hemi is n/a so it can build power faster. my advice would be to put it in 4 low and do a boosted launch but ive never done it. if it has street tires maybe go into a field so it will lose traction faster.

ya i was planning on boost launching it sorta, like preloading with the brake on. maybe even lower tire pressure.

ive never done anything like this but some of my friends are into it, the best stratagy ive seen so far is to hold the brake and let him break his tires loose, then slowly start to pull him, seems to work great everytime! this is a lot easier to do if you are an auto by the way

Ok, being a cocky Italian myself, I'm looking forward to hearing what happened with this tug. I'm rooting hardcore for your Detroit.

Yep let him pull the dead weight of your truck then spool up and floor it,add some inconspicuous weight to your truck too like a couple fat chicks in the box,blhaaaa,kiding..good luck and let us no how you make out.

trucks always clean, never seen mud or dirt. only got cat back:S kinda gay i think. and thats a good idea guys thanks. ill probably throw some wet hay bails in it. does an optic bump do a whole lot? like anything noticable same for removing the vac pump is it enough to make a differance?

Just hold the brakes until he spins his tires then give it hell. That is your best beat I think. I don't know if I would even go into 4lo but stay in 4hi. If you aren't in dirt/grass/gravel 4x4 might break your truck. What type of tires are you running?
