Default burning oil

hey first time post here love all the info on here been reading bout everything. i just bought a 93 gmc 2500 with 200200 miles 6.5 td love the truck as far as i now everything is bone stock but its burning some oil bout a quart every tank is there any aditive i could use to stop like sea foam or am i going to have to tear into it? still has plenty power just dont want to turn stuff up then blow it up any help would be awsome thanks guys

A qt for every tank of fuel for 2000,200mile on these truck is not bad

my last diesel was a 84 suburban 6.2 got 380,000 before it finaly poped i was putting 2 quarts a tank in it so iam just wondering if iam heading dwn that road love diesel just want to learn all i can bout them
