Default 6.2 Oil Pressure Gauge/Sending Unit.....

just replace it with a manual gauge, 9.88$ from Advanced Autoparts, best thing i ever did, did it a few hours ago cause the factory gauge was reading like 5 at idle and less than 20 at highway speeds, swapped to a manual gauge and now it reads 30 at idle and 40-50 going down the road, makes me feel alot better, oh and the oil sending unit is at the back of the block on the driverside beside the head, PITA to change.

ya i've had a few different sending units that were like that. a couple chevy's one ford and a nissan..... i like a mechanical gauce cause it's to me better than the electrical ones that are 10+ years old on some of these older vehicles.... and don't even get me started on vehicles with dummy lights....

My stock gauge is doin the shimmy dance from about 60 to 80 at idle, but hangs tight at about 65 when I'm goin down the road.
