Default 1998 Chevy K3500 w/6.5L diesel runs rough when cold.

Hello fellow Diesel Bombers. I have a 1998 Chevy with the 6.5l diesel and has been running abit rough in the mornings. It has been pretty cold here with the temps in the low teens and my problem is at initial start up the engine starts and shakes to beat hell then warms up and runs fine. If I park the vehicle in the garage it starts fine. I'm thinking glow plug system so I checked the plugs. Two have ohm's in range .08-1.2 whereas the remaining six had readings 1.7-2.0. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well I thought I solved the proble by replacing the glow plugs however it still runs rough first thing in the morning. Ran great while parked in the garage but I left it out over night to see how it would do and sounds like it is running on half the cylinders. I wonder if the fuel is gelling up over night?

Right now it is 39 degrees but it was colder at 645 am when I tried it. I thought maybe my fuel heater may be malfunctioning so I went out to check the connections and started up fine. Runs good right now. I only ran it for two or three minutes this morning when the problem occurred.
