truck shift flares not sure if trans problem or if there is a fualt with the throttle position sensor, where is the throttle position sensor located. if anyone knows it is much appreciated thanks, more info the truck shift flares when warmed up, but when cold operates in overdrive fine, the shift points feel off, after shift flare occurs can put trans in third and keep driving at 55 thanks, fluid looks good.

Hey billyfat,
Had the same trouble with my 93, it sounds like your throttle position sensor is doing the same thing mine was. The throttle position sensor on the top of the engine under the air dam from the turbo. try replacing that and see if that helps, it fixed mine. Hope that helps
