7k worth of scrap plus trailer on my 1/2 ton 6.5td. Truck pulled it great but stopping with the stock 1/2 ton brakes was another deal. Haha

when ours was still running it would see 2-2 1/2 tons of feed in the bed alone ever now and then. And then with trailers ive seen 6 tons plus trailer hauling feed and usually with the 24' we would get 10-12 momma cows on it.

i have pulled a 24 foot gooseneck with dual 7k axles loaded with 12 bales of hay each weighed about 1100# so you do the math

i got a 5 speed dually and i pulled zetor tractor with a front in loader and a 6 X10 for sherredder on the back on a bumper pull and it did ok but i ant sure on the weight

Well, in my Ram 2500 regular gas I towed my double axle trailer with over 18,000 lbs in it, did fine, stopped fine it was a bit slow that was gas, these diesels should handle that up a steep grade while accelerating.
