im just woundering what kinda of mpgs a 6.5 diesel should get?

i know my 97 3500 auto 2wheel drive with 4:10 only getting 15 mpg and 8 mpg towing a 16,000lb 5th wheel and i can't seem to get any more then that and have done eveything i could just get that but now i hear ppl getting 18 to 21 mpg

yeah im gettin the same and i hear ppl gettin 20 at least with them

between 18 and 20 with a C3500 single cab and 4.10s. the taller tires i put on helped the low gears on the highway

I get 19 hwy empty, 16 towing my car @ 70mph, and around 16 city.....I drive like a grandpa I never really go over 2k rpm, unless I need to lose a pesky dodge ram or f150
