Has anyone dealt with or know anything about the older whipple superchargers they used to use on the H1 hummers? i was given the option to get one for a reasonable price, and was wondering the benefits over a turbo? downfalls?

why would you want run super charger when you are running turbo supercharger not made for diesel in my mine

 

Beacause not everybody thinks the same way

 

in that site they claim the turbo'ed 6.5 only made 215 hp. with the right tune and turbo you can make a lot more then that and be more efficent. but i admit a street 6.5 with a supercharger would be sweet

 

Great performance package for a caddy! Love to have this parts under the hood of my truck, hope it gives a lot of grunt to my engine. Love to bolt some power with a new Supercharger Kit from edelbrock.
