6.5 vacuum pump elimination
I'm not at all familiar with the chevy diesels (cummins is another story). I would like to put the heath wastegate elimination kit on my 1994 3500 hd and get rid of the vacuum pump all together. Heath also sells a pump elimination belt. Are there any benefits or adverse effects to eliminating the vacuum pump (I also hate the pump noise it makes, very annoying). I just want to make consistent power with out the turbo falling out every so often especially when I need it climbing a hill. When this happens I love watching the check engine light come on for exhaust temp warnings. I plan on putting a air intake on and 3.5" exhaust all the way out to aid in this. I'm not looking to make 500 hp just get a bit more consistent power and possibly a little better mpg's. Any help would be appreciated.

What do I do with the tubing that goes to the intake side (forget about the wastegate tube) should I cap it? What is a safe amount of boost with the turbo master? I'm going to either custom make the intake or get the airaid which is nice but pricey for what it is. The exhaust has to be custom built due to my truck having a pto on it for the crane and compressor. Thanks, I'm going to order the turbo master tomorrow.
