Default engine electrical troubles

Hey, anybody else have this trouble? Did a tranny rebuild, so I pulled the engine and fixed all the oil leaks. Now it is back together, and the fuel system will not power up, no fuel solenoid click or injector pump noise. I can bypass the fuel pump relay, and the pump will prime fine. I am guessing that I have a wrong connection. Haven’t checked yet. Just curious if anybody else had the same trouble. Thanks.

P.S. Everything worked fine before, so I know it is something simple.

Does it matter which side the power cable is connected to on the glow plug solenoid?
Just occurred to me that the glow plug light did not turn on.
