i have a 96 6.5l that has a new starter and a new alt and i still just get a click when i turn the key.... ??

did you clean all the connections at the battery until there shiny.

Yes I have and it will start sometimes and then others it will not start it acts like it has a dead starter but if I wate a few hrs and try it again it will start just fine..????

theres a ground on the back of the intake manifold on the passenger side that deals with that. clean that and see how it is.
