computer checks the timing every time you start the truck so a loose timing chain wont affect it. im pretty sure anyways. also when you physically move the ip you need to do a tdco to put it into the comuter, it will run so much better

thankyou for the information, I have done the tdco and now I will see if any ses lights come back on, if they dint then I will start with some mods for more power. first will be the pmd relocation then I am going for the turbo master.

well after advancing the ip and done the tdco my problems are gone and truck is running good, I think I have the ip advance alittle too far because of the rpms are running at 800 at idle so I think I need to retard it just a little and see how that is. Thank you everyone that helped me out and I hope I can do the same for another person soon.
