Turbo Swap
Ok so i started screwing with my truck today. Not a really good idea for me cause i tend to go over board!!! But anyway, Im swapping in an H1C with a 12cm housing into my 94 gmc 6.5. I'm gonna to a whole right up on it with a whole $hit load of pics, but if anyone has any comments, or things for me to look out for, all input is appreciated.

ok so i got started today, but didn't get too far, forgot to check my oxy torches, no gas!
anyway
i did start to install my boost gauge,
remove the 6 10mm bolts off of the upper plenum, unplug your map sensor and other sensor, remove the 2 13mm bolts for the support brace from the turbo to the plenum, and the 8mm nut for the boot from the turbo to the plenum
remove the 3 10mm bolts for the heat sheild that surrounds the turbo, undue the intake boot, there are 2 15mm bolts for a support from the turbo to the intake manifold
thats as far as i got without gas, due to the entire things being rusty as can be,

i dont know what your budgets are but there is another great turbo out there specically designed for the 6.5. its called the A Team Turbo and you can get it at this place. http://walkingjdesigns.myshopify.com...charger-a-team
people getting a 1-3 mpg increase is reported and overall it seems to be a nice towing turbo. works nice a KOJO tune too.
