heated back window
alright guys, while my trucks at the body shop gettin painted i decided to put a defrosting rear window in while my old window was out. there are 2 tabs, one on each side, that each take a wire. my question is does one take ground, one take positive, or do they both take ground or both take positive. id assume one takes a positive and one takes a negative but i want to be sure before i screw something up.
anyone know?
anyone know?
yes it does. but i dont know if thats how it works or if it needs a special controller or somethin like that. or who knows it could ground itself out somewhere i dont see so i have no idea
i know in auto class today on one of the shop cars had a anti theft system and my teacher thought he was funny and kept connecting it to the negative terminal to get the siren to wail. dont know how the actual alarm was wired up though.
i figured it out. i just brought a battery and the window inside. hooked one of them to the positive of the battery and one to the ground. blew some steam on it and it instantly went away. ohmed it out and it was warming up the window
easy enough
