they told me the lift pump was only pushing 4 psi i think and the told me the injector pump was putting out fuel shut off codes so would that be the pump itself or just the shut off valve. ever since i got the truck back from them it will not start at all. before i took it to them it would start and idle for a long time but now it wont even start. what did the do?

Did you replace or fix the lift pump also? I think you should make sure your lift pump is working fine. It would still run without one but will put extra stress to the injector pump.

A bad lift pump will wear your injection pump much faster than if it's working at the correct capacity. You will also have hard starting because the injection pump has to draw fuel all by itself. SSDiesel has great parts also. The lift pumps they sell have worked great for me. Their pumps are remaned, but they're done by the best in the business and application bench tested to spec. I'm glad you're running again. Also keep your PMD out of the hot spots if you don't already. A lot of times the problems you had are just a toasted PMD. Hope you bought the pump and driver together and saved a few bucks!
