No codes..went driving for about a hour today, everything worked fine.I found a plug end unplugged on the drivers side on the frame, just under the wheel well.. it had sorta plastic hose that went too the front wheel on the drivers side..and theirs one on the passenger side also...but anyways i plugged this back in.. maybe that was the problem. Now i got another ?.. when i first move the truck it grabs the back brakes hard when i put the brakes on, like skidding the wheels, now it only does this the first couple off times when i apply the brakes..everything fine after that..it just seems when it sets over night it does this. I had this problem before i put the new brakes on.. it was always like this ever seance i got the truck, so maybe it's just the nature off the beast.

that always happens to me. its just the brakes being cold and grabbing too much. when i back up on the driveway into the street i always just brake fast and hard and they warm up fine.

Well guess what..went out today to go for a drive.. wouldn't start, it was running fine when i parked it a few days ago. First thing i thought was the pmd. cause i could hear the LP coming on...(But it doesn't sound as loud as it used too be) I put the spare pmd on..same thing. So then i checked for fuel..no fuel coming out off the filter bleeder..now what. I noticed that my fuel gauge was doing allot off bouncing around after i put on the new sending unit..like the gauge just won't stay still..it goes right up past full when i turn the key off. But i can't see this causing the truck too loose it's fuel.

Check grounds at back of block; the one that makes a no start and errant dash instruments is one of the key grounds that goes to the PCM.

Mods I'm going to post a link not for trolling but because this can help him a lot I think 6.5 grounds - DieselTowingResource.com

Grounds are lifeblood for the 6.5, any modern vehicle while it may be PMD you've tried 2 so I doubt that is it, do the free stuff like clean gnds first

Just another idea: check your ignition harness. Chevys with tilt wheel seem have this problem alot. If it dies without the dumby lights coming on, its the harness. And its not just a diesel problem, gassers do it too. More you use the tilt the faster it shorts out. Just an idea.

A guy learns something new every day about these trucks..cleaned the grounds at the back off the block, and she fired right up..
