I have been working on this engine for some time now. I bought it in Philadelphia off of craigslist. It has 90k original miles for 600 bucks, i stole it. SO got it home and i have been working on it for the past few months. I found that number eight piston was burned and needed replacing, and my heads were badly cracked. So here are some pics of where i am today.... CAT yellow.

 

yeah for 600 bucks a 599 block is a steal. i love the look of the cat yellow. when i rebuild mine its getting some allis chalmers orange for paint
