Here is my wife's 87 GMC Suburban half-ton. I installed a set of wheels from a 91 suburban with yokohama p265/70R15 tires, and cut the factory mufflers off. I can't bring myself to do anything else to the truck. I would love to make more power, but it currently gets 32 MPG with my wife driving it (1600 miles to a tank). Maybe one day I will play with it a little, but for now content to be getting better mileage then just about anything near its size. And yes, I love my 3.42 Rear-end.
If I want to go fast, my blue Malibu in the background is getting a 400 HP 385 Stroker motor.

I'd post some of my dad's extensive collection of 6.2's, but none of them are much to look at (They've all got rust and flaking paint), so here's the list:
-2: 1/2 ton pickups (reg cab)
-2: 1/2 ton suburbans (motor dead on one, tranny dead on another)
