Turning the pump up on a 96' 6.5 TD
I've done the 93' and older but wasn't sure about the drive-by-wire pumps. Going to pick-up a 96' wrecked dually tomorrow and am going to stick it in a 93 1/2 ton (If you have to ask why you wouldn't understand) I want to get in the 250hp 500lb range but wasn't sure on the pump. I know this isn't unrealistic with a cable pump.
Any help?

don't use the 96 pump there electronic with the pmd's that don't last no matter what and the only way to turn them up is with a chip use the old mechanical pump off the 93 motor on the 96 engine less trouble, easy to tweak my 0.02 I work on 6.5s all the time you dont want the 94-up pump
Heath drivers last off the IP, mine going strong for 5 years now on truck 1, 3 years on truck 2 , 2 years warranty left on truck 1, and 4 years on truck 2.
To turn up wick on a DS4 electronic IP requires reprogram it's OBD-2, OBD-1s get a chip
