Default Dead Suburban

Well the old 6.5 in my Suburban gave up the ghost mid week. With 251,000 on the clock I guess it just had enough. Not really the way I wanted to start the year off but atleast I have a donor for it. I'll try to keep the thread updated as I go and post pics of the whole process. I will also be putting parts up on the classifieds for sale that I find can be reused.

Oh its getting a P-pumped Cummins with a 47rh behind it shoved between the fenders of it. If anyone who has done it has pics of thier motor mounts I would love to see them.

Sounds like that's going to be a sweet ride. Can't wait to see it when you get done.

Well the 6.5 is out and I found out what was wrong with it. The flexplate busted apart on it again and was making the noise I was hearing. So now I have a 6.5 I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do with because it is not going back in the burb. This was twice the dang thing did this but this time I couldnt tell it until it was already out.

Ok if any of you all have built your own engine mounts pics would be nice. I just cant see paying what they want for these things.
