Default Need help

Ok guys my truck has been giving me fits. Its a 97 suburban with the 6.5 in it. It keeps throwing the 251, 370 codes and no one can really give me any info it would be great. I'm replacing the ECM to see if that cures it but if not I'm running out of options. I called three Chevy dealers and they dont know either.

Thanks
Andy

251 is Injector cam system
370 timing reference high resolution

251 & 370 will normally set if the vehicle has run out of fuel

also i heard that these pumps on the 6.5's has an optical sensor on them that goes bad when it gets moisture in it. and the pump will have to be replaced. people reported that those codes came up when this happened. also some have had to replace the lift pump.

Well replaced the two month old lift pump that was dead and she seems to be running fine.
