Default Service engine soon light

I am having a weird issue with the service engine soon light coming on and off. I will work normally the first thing, then when I put it into drive in comes on and will stay on until either I depress the accellorater then it will go off for a short time. I had a code 13 which is supposed to be the engine shut off solenoid. I cleared the codes and started it up and now I get a code 33 which is supposeds to be the EGR control pressure/Baro sensor circut high. How can I fix this and where is it located. I am thinking that it is one of the sensors that on in the group on the driverside of the intake

Talking HOLY COW SAME EXACT PROB!

So weird! Just bought a BEAUTIFUL 1993 6.5 td 4x4 crewcab dually, and I have the following probs:
1) The "BRAKE" light is off when u start it, then comes on at EXACTLY 35 mph!!!

2) The SERV ENG SOON light is on at idle, then when u step on accel it goes off, when u let off accel it comes on - WHA???

3) Cruise doesn't work ( prob becuz BRAKE light is on)

4) Hi idle solenoid doesn't operate at all ( 15 degrees out)

Had a REAL slow crank w/ 2 new batts, but checked batt terminals, and they were junky - cleaned and greased - crank prob solved!

5) The glowplugs wouldn't cycle on cold startup, but I was fiddling around back by the glowplug control relay, and now they cycle ( HATE THAT! - wish I knew what the prob was)

I have the day off today - I'm gonna have a connection cleaning party and a HUGE GROUNDING CHECK - then I'll get back to you! MANY people have said it sounds like a ground problem.

L8R!

which grounds need to be cleaned?, i'm having the same problem but my cruise works and everything is normal. the engine light comes on when i let off but as soon as i accelerate it goes off. i'm getting a similar egr code, and a code 78 which was something to do with the factory wastegate.

o and i had a code for the shut off solenoid as well but i had a diesel leak on the top where the wires go into it on the injection pump. fixed the leak and the code hasn't came back.
