3208T CAT Powered Chevy
#21
Ok first off lay off the drugs or at least share with me so I can go crazy too.... Second a 90s model Chevy would never ever ever ever support the wieght of a CAT engine because it is IFS. You would have to do so much it wouldnt be cost effective or worth it in the end. Yea its a cool thing toi dream of but the cost is so outragous it would just be better to start with a new truck and bomb away on that.

At first I thought you were high or something,

i hate to break it too you guys but theres a 3208 turbo in a 77 1 ton chevy duece and a half 5 speed and trans case
was a non turbo but upgraded to a T motor
---AutoMerged DoublePost---
you better buy a good starter before you install
no room for extraction
about 1/2 inch clearence on frame rails
custom fire wall
better put 3.55's or higher

there actually 2 trucks in town 1 77 chevy the other is a 76 ford 250
they said it bolted right up to the c6 ive seen both the chevy wins hands down
it only weigh 11000 dry

the 3176 and the 16 are awfully long and deep
you would need to lift it extremly

the 3176 can and has been put into a late 70's 2wd F350 regular cab......it was built to run the baja and it did very well, offroad magazine did a article on it a few months back, the truck was gold/brown tutone and has 35's under it on 16.5x9.75 Outlaw wheels, the magazine cover had a red 65 ford truck with long travel suspension......
but i cant remember half of the crap im supposed to do at work every day.......
