Default 6.2 diesel 18:1 compression pistons?

Heys guys, I have a 6.2 660 engine and I have a friend that can make me 18 to 1 compression pistons for it. I was also going to do splayed main caps, main studs, head studs, fluidamper, and a HX35/40 hybrid turbo, I am lowering the compression because the engine already has 21 to 1 compression and I don’t like the thought of putting a turbo on that because even with such a little boost you can break things. And I was told if you lower the compression it lowers the harmonics in the engine and you can increase boost pressure slightly. My question is are 18 to 1 compression pistons worth it? I hear they work well in 6.5 diesel’s (with a turned up mechanical injection pump), what about a 6.2? I’ve been on the edge of I should do this build, it’ll be fun to see what the outcome is and no this is a waste of time building a 6.2 even though I’ve seen pretty decent numbers from a 6.2 with a turbo.
thanks guys.
