Problems
On my 85 k30 theres a what seems to be a high idle celenoid that when you start the truck up when its cold it runs higher idle rpm until it reaches a certain temperature then returns to the normal idle. My problem is that my truck never returns to that normal idle, it crackles loud and smokes pretty good. I tried just unhooking my high idle celenoid but that didn't seem to cure my problem. And whats odd is when its driving and running the problem comes an goes when your in different rpm ranges. Please any help is greatly appreciated this problem is annoying because of the sound and its also killing my fuel milage. Thanks.

How does it start in the morning or if you let it sit for a few hours? Does it seem to run good, then act like it's running out of fuel? How about after it's warmed up? Does it idle fine, then start to run fast, then run so slow that it almost dies? Could also try to adjust the idle and see if that helps.

no its 100% stock. The "high" fueling problem seems to like come and go. it will be running normal then all of a sudden it will start to like almost surge and do that for a little bit then settle back to normal. Its odd if your crusing at a certain speed and and its starts to do it the truck will take off kind of you can feel it pick up. i think its getting an excess of fuel some how but i can't seem to figure it out.

To test the injectors, leave it running. Crack the lines, one by one, at the injector. If the engine starts to miss significantly, the injector is still good. If no change is made in how the engine is running, you found the bad injector. The injector pump it's self has to be tested by a repair shop. Usually @ the hourly rate.
